Vacancy Female Ustadaah (Part-Time)
Jamia Masjid Abu Bakr are looking for a qualified female Ustadaah to join Jamia Masjid Abu Bakr in order to provide a religious service and guidance for females in the local community.
Main Areas of the Role:
– Provide a professional and adequate education to the children attending the Masjid madrassa classes.
-Hold weekly classes for different groups of females to provide them with Islamic education.
– Be a self-motivated individual with a drive to provide dawah to the local community and work to involve others in the Masjids activities.
– Become a contact point for female congregants for Islamic guidance and support.
– Ready to work and uplift the spiritual and moral conduct of the local community.
– Assist in religious and community events.
– Plan work properly and professionally in order to deliver work efficiency.
– Be prepared to work flexible working hours, depending on the needs of the Masjid and religious occasions and ceremonies.
– Assist in religious and community events.
– Be an approachable individual for all ages and be understanding of people’s circumstances.
Qualifications & Experience:
– Applicant must have graduated from a recognised Islamic institution.
– Must be a follower of Sunni Hanafi school of thought and from the Ahl-sunnah wal Jama’ah
– Preferred UK qualification & experience of teaching children in an Islamic environment
– Proficiency in Arabic & English language both written and spoken.
Being able to communicate in Urdu is strongly recommended.
– Some experience advising in the light of Quran & Sunnah
– Commitment & Care towards the Community
– Current CRB (Masjid can support with this)
Salary: £20,000, 25 hours Pro-rata.
